Qualia is a bass music collective and record label founded by Chmura, Comisar, DAGGZ, Lowcation, Phurn, and Saturna, rooted in the concept of qualia: the subjective qualities of experience that can’t be measured, only felt, and are never perceived the same way by any two people. Drawing influence from nature, wonder, and emotion, the collective creates low-end–driven music that prioritizes sensation, immersion, and personal interpretation over rigid structure or genre boundaries.

Spanning experimental bass, downtempo, and deep dubstep to name a few, Qualia’s releases emphasize organic, resonant sound design, world percussion, storytelling, and cinematic arrangements. Each track is meant to shift with context and perception, reflecting the belief that sound is a lived experience; it’s felt in the body, shaped by environment and emotion, and uniquely experienced by every listener.
